Electric Bicycles combine classic pedal kinematics with an intelligent electric motor drive, allowing you to conquer massive distances and steep climbs without excessive physical effort.
E-bikes or "Pedelecs" are hybrid vehicles where the electric motor functions as a human power amplifier. Unlike scooters, pedaling is primary here - the built-in PAS (Pedal Assist System) technology reads the cadence speed and torque in real-time, automatically assigning the necessary power from the motor. Industry-standard e-bikes are divided into two main architectures: hub motors located in the rear axle for smooth city riding, and mid-drive motors built directly into the pedal center, creating maximum torque for steep mountain (e-MTB) routes. The system is powered by massive 36V or 48V lithium-ion batteries, which are often aerodynamically integrated directly into the aluminum frame tube. This battery capacity allows achieving a range of up to 100 kilometers, depending on the selected support mode. Bicycles integrate classic Shimano or SRAM gear shifters and powerful hydraulic disc brakes, which guarantee absolute stopping safety even at high speeds (up to 25 km/h) with additional motor mass.
The combination of a hybrid electric motor and human muscle power allows the rider to dose the cardio load while significantly speeding up movement. To maintain ideal pressure in the e-bike tires and thus maximize the battery range, engineeringly perfect portable air compressors should be taken along on trips.
