Electric Scooters provide lightning-fast and aerodynamic movement in the urban environment, integrating high-torque hub motors and recuperation technologies.

The evolution of kick scooters has reached a level where micro-mobility becomes the primary vehicle. Modern electric scooters are powered by powerful brushless DC hub motors (BLDC Hub motors) built directly into the front or rear wheel. This direct-drive architecture eliminates mechanical losses and allows the equipment to instantly reach speeds of 25 km/h or more. Energy is supplied by spacious lithium-ion (Li-Ion) battery packs, which, depending on the ampere-hour (Ah) capacity, provide a range of 20 up to 60 kilometers on a single charge. An engineering innovation is KERS (Kinetic Energy Recovery System) or regenerative braking - during the braking process, the motor switches to generator mode, converting kinetic energy into electricity and charging the battery while riding. Folding frame mechanisms are made of aviation aluminum, which combines massive lifting capacity (over 100 kg) with a relatively low overall equipment weight. Physical comfort on uneven asphalt is guaranteed by 8.5 to 10-inch pneumatic (air-filled) or shock-absorbing honeycomb tires.

Drive and kinematic technologies:

  • BLDC hub motor: The brushless electric motor guarantees incredible acceleration, high torque, and requires no mechanical maintenance due to the lack of friction parts.
  • Regenerative braking (KERS): Returns up to 10% of kinetic energy back to the battery, making braking not only safe but also energy-efficient.
  • Folding mechanism: A rigid, three-point fixation system allows the steering column to be folded in 3 seconds for easy transport in public transport or a car trunk.
  • Pneumatic shock absorption: Air-filled tires function as a primary shock absorber, perfectly absorbing micro-impacts caused by paving stones and sidewalk curbs.

Dynamic and autonomous movement provides absolute freedom in city traffic jams. To regularly perform preventive maintenance of folding mechanisms and tighten screws loosened by vibrations during long-term operation, ideal helpers will be electric screwdrivers and small power tools.
