All products purchased on opentools.lv are covered by the manufacturer's warranty.
Warranty periods
For private individuals (Consumers): In accordance with the Consumer Rights Protection Law, the consumer has the right to file a claim for a product not conforming to the terms of the contract within 24 months from the date of receipt of the product.
For legal entities (B2B clients): The manufacturer's commercial warranty applies. Depending on the product specification, the manufacturer's warranty period for businesses is usually 1 to 2 years.
Conditions for receiving warranty services
To use the warranty, the buyer must:
Present a proof of purchase (receipt, waybill, or invoice).
Deliver the product to an OPEN TOOLS representative (costs related to the transportation of the product to the Seller are covered by the buyer).
Note: The manufacturer's warranty conditions do not apply to accessories, consumables, power supply elements (e.g., batteries), and accessories with a naturally limited resource.
The warranty is void if the product damage is caused by the buyer:
The product has damaged warranty seals or serial numbers.
The product was not used for its intended purpose or the product's user manual was not followed.
The product has mechanical damage (drops, breaks, etc.).
The product has damage caused by external factors (e.g., moisture, liquids, severe impacts, fire).
The product has undergone unauthorized repair at an uncertified service center.
Inappropriate accessories, power elements, or consumables were used with the product, causing damage to the product.
The product was damaged as a result of improper transportation.
