Product Returns and Right of Withdrawal
Right of withdrawal for private individuals (Consumers)
Based on the Cabinet of Ministers "Regulations Regarding Distance Contracts", the consumer has the right to withdraw from a product purchased on opentools.lv within 14 (fourteen) calendar days and return it to the seller without giving a reason.
The withdrawal period expires 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party indicated by you (other than the carrier), acquires physical possession of the goods. To meet the deadline, it is sufficient to send your notification of exercising the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
How to exercise the right of withdrawal:
Contact the Seller by e-mail: [email protected]. You will receive a reply with the necessary information for returning the product.
A copy of the proof of purchase (receipt or waybill/invoice) must be attached to the returned item.
The product must be unused, without visual or technical damage, in its original packaging, and fully complete. To avoid disputes, the Buyer should immediately verify that the product matches the order (color, name, and other parameters) upon receipt.
The purchase amount is refunded within 14 days after the product is received and inspected at our warehouse. Transportation costs associated with returning the product are covered by the buyer.
Product returns for legal entities (B2B clients)
The 14-day right of withdrawal stipulated by law does not apply to legal entities. Returns or exchanges for B2B clients are handled on a case-by-case basis. Please contact our customer service center or act in accordance with the terms of your partnership agreement.
Receipt of damaged or non-compliant goods
If you receive a damaged or non-compliant product, please contact us immediately by e-mail with attached photos so we can resolve the situation quickly.
