EcoFlow Alternator Charger 500W charger
The EcoFlow Alternator Charger 500W is a car charger that allows you to quickly recharge your power station while driving. It uses excess energy from the vehicle's alternator to deliver up to 500 watts of power, allowing 1 kWh of energy to be replenished in just 2.1 hours. It works 5 times faster than standard car cigarette lighter sockets. The device combines three functions - charging, battery maintenance and starting assistance. In addition, it can be controlled directly from the vehicle's multimedia system screen thanks to integration with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Three modes of operation
The EcoFlow Alternator Charger offers three modes of operation, which can be switched between using the EcoFlow mobile app. Charging mode is used to recharge the portable power station. Reverse Charging mode allows you to use the stored energy to recharge the starter or RV battery. Maintenance mode (Battery Maintenance) keeps the vehicle's battery in good shape by supplying low current to it and preventing it from discharging.
Simple and quick installation
The product is designed for easy installation - the entire installation is done in three steps. The compact housing allows the device to be placed discreetly inside the vehicle. The wires are connected to the battery and the metal part of the body, which acts as grounding. Note, however, that when using the XT60 cable (a standard connector for EcoFlow stations), it is necessary to manually turn on the device and activate charging in the app - so it is advisable to avoid installation in hard-to-reach places.
Compatibility with multiple devices
Compatibility with EcoFlow's RIVER series portable power stations, as well as EcoFlow DELTA 3, EcoFlow DELTA 3 Plus models, and EcoFlow GLACIER series refrigerators and EcoFlow WAVE air conditioners allows for freedom of use. The charger will also work well with third-party stations. You'll use it in SUVs, pickups and RVs alike. Note: the XT60 cable is included, which only allows standard charging of the power station. To use the reverse charging function (i.e., charging the battery from the energy storage) and battery maintenance, you will need to purchase the XT150 cable and use it with a compatible station from the EcoFlow DELTA series.
Intuitive control from the car
The EcoFlow Alternator Charger is the first on the market to offer full integration with vehicle infotainment systems (on-board systems that combine navigation, multimedia and vehicle diagnostic data). With support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, you can control charging directly from the car's screen. The EcoFlow app allows you to check the current energy level, charging power or switch modes - all without reaching for your phone, increasing safety while driving.
Full operational safety
The GaN (gallium nitride) technology used by EcoFlow Alternator Charger features high temperature resistance and higher energy efficiency. The charger is equipped with a number of protections, including against reverse polarity, current overload, short circuit, overvoltage and under-voltage.
Operation in all conditions
The device is designed for use in variable climatic conditions. It can operate at temperatures from -20°C to 60°C, and its components can withstand humidity up to 95%. In storage mode, it can withstand even extreme conditions of -30°C to 70°C, making it suitable for longer expeditions and seasonal storage.
