Nightlights provide extremely safe, energy-efficient, and autonomous orientation lighting for bedside tables, hallways, and nurseries during dark hours.
Even soft background lighting at night is fundamentally important for safe movement in rooms without the need to turn on blinding central ceiling luminaires. The VIDEX nightlight series (NL models) offers modern, wireless ambient lighting solutions with integrated lithium-ion batteries (from 750mAh to 4000mAh capacity) capable of working for an exceptionally long time after a single charge via the fast USB-C protocol. Most devices are equipped with a sensitive infrared (PIR) motion sensor and a Day/Night sensor, ensuring automatic and precise light activation (up to 6 meters and 120-degree detection area) only when it is truly needed. The engineering magnetic base design provides absolute freedom to attach the lamp to walls, metal frames, or instantly remove it for use as a regular flashlight. Certain models (such as NL103W-R and NL064W-G) emit not only warm white light (3000K - 6500K) but also a dynamic RGB color background to create an aesthetic environment.
Technical operating principles and automation:
- Sensor automation: The motion detector together with the background lighting sensor turns on the lamp only in the dark in the presence of a person, later automatically turning off (usually after 20 seconds).
- Magnetic attachment: The rear magnetic mount allows non-invasive and sharp fixing of the night light in the desired location without the use of screws and tools.
- Flicker-free technology: The advanced light diffuser creates soft scattering without harmful pulsations, preventing discomfort when the eyes are still used to the dark.
- Hybrid functionality: A large number of models support the dual lamp function, serving both as a stationary wall light and as a portable hand flashlight for crisis situations.
Close-range autonomous lighting drastically reduces the risk of falls and collisions at night while not disturbing the night's sleep of other household members.
