The emergency power supply unit for LED luminaires VIDEX VL-EMM-L23 is designed to provide backup power to luminaires during a power outage. It operates with two embedded lithium-ion batteries with a capacity of 2200mAh each. It is used for lamps and luminaires with their own driver without galvanic isolation. In emergency mode (when the mains voltage disappears), it provides continuous power for lighting with a power of up to 3W for up to 3.5 hours.
Has 3 operating modes. The kit includes a test cable that is used to check proper operation in emergency mode. The unit has built-in batteries that can be replaced if necessary. Replacement of batteries should only be performed by a qualified specialist.

INSTALLATION AND CONNECTION
Before installation, be sure to read the user manual. Installation must be performed by a qualified specialist. All work should be carried out with the power disconnected. Select the desired module operation scenario and install and connect it according to the diagrams in the instructions:
I. Always off - the light remains off as long as there is power from the mains. In the event of a power outage, it switches to emergency mode and will remain on until the battery is completely discharged.
II. Always on - the light remains on as long as there is power from the mains. In the event of a power outage, it switches to emergency mode until the battery is completely discharged.
III. Switch control - the light can be turned on or off using a standard wall switch during normal operation. Regardless of the switch position, the emergency function is automatically activated in the event of a power outage.
Before first use, it is necessary to check the correctness of the mechanical fastening and connection. The product may only be used in a network that meets the energy requirements and quality standards established by law.
ATTENTION! The polarity of the power source must strictly comply with the electrical connection diagram. Incorrect polarity may cause damage to the device or loss of functionality.
INDICATOR OPERATION DESCRIPTION
The module housing has an indicator that remains on during normal operation and turns off when emergency mode is activated:
1) Indicator is solid green: battery is fully charged.
2) Indicator is solid red: battery is charging.
3) Indicator flashes red: fault detected.
4) Indicator is off: emergency mode is activated.
CHECKING EMERGENCY MODE FUNCTION
This module includes a test cable designed to verify proper operation in emergency mode. There are two ways to check if the emergency functions are working correctly:
- Method 1. Triple-press test (manual switching mode):
Press the test button three times. The green indicator will flash and the module will enter emergency mode. Press and hold the test button for 2 seconds to exit emergency mode.
- Method 2: Short-term test (automatic return mode):
Press and hold the test button to activate emergency mode. Release the test button to exit emergency mode.
PRECAUTIONS:
1. Battery replacement should be performed by a qualified technician according to the instructions. Before replacement, disconnect the mains power and the emergency module from both the LED light and the mains power.
2. If the product is to be stored for a long time, fully charge the battery. Do not store the product with a discharged battery, as this will cause irreversible damage.
3. Do not use the product with damaged wiring or connection points.
4. Clean the product only with soft and dry cloths. Do not use chemical or abrasive cleaning agents.
5. Do not cover the product, ensure free air access.
6. The product cannot be used in adverse conditions, such as dust, water, humidity, vibration, explosive atmosphere, fumes or chemical vapors, etc.
