Pinpointers and Handheld Detectors provide micrometrically precise target localization in already excavated soil using a dense 360-degree electromagnetic detection field.
When a large metal detector has identified the search area and a primary hole has been dug, the most time-consuming part is often finding the object itself in the mud or sand. This logistics and time consumption problem is completely solved by a handheld metal detector or pinpointer. These engineeringly compact devices generate a local electromagnetic field in a 360-degree radius around their axis, as well as directly at the very tip of the probe. Approaching a metal object, the device's built-in micromotor and piezoelectric speaker begin to emit proportional vibration and audio indication - the closer the target is, the more intense and faster the output signal becomes. Today's best pinpointers are hermetically sealed and meet the IP68 waterproof standard, allowing them to be safely submerged up to 3-6 meters deep for underwater search operations. In addition, these devices are equipped with built-in LED lights and smart anti-loss warning signals that beep automatically if left turned on for a long time without physical movement.
